6" x 48" belt sander plans

This homemade belt sander can be used as a horizontal belt sander, or be tipped on its side onto a base to use as an edge belt sander.

I have produced a detailed set of drawings for this machine. You can see a preview of the plans so you can get a better sense of what's inside before buying.

The plans include printable
1:1 cutting templates
The plans are in metric units, except for drill and shaft sizes, which are in imperial units. You can generate plans in imperial units simply by changing the units to "imperial" in SketchUp under "model info", but the units will not work out to even numbers like they do in metric.
